To prove my point

I was on the Palm Beach Post website trying to figure out how to submit a press release about Bike & Build when this article popped up:

Please be aware of bikes!

If only people would really learn to pay attention so shit like this does not happen. "He was cited for the accident..." WOW. I pray that if he's allowed on the road for the rest of his life, he will be the most cautious driver that ever existed. Obviously, I don't drive. So I'm not really sure what thought process you go through when you have to make a decision about getting the water bottle that fell by your feet, or paying attention to the damn traffic signal.

However, I do know that when you are a cyclist, you NEVER trust "Walk" signs and green lights alone. There is no such thing as having the right of way when you are on a bike. It's more a question of, 'Am I going to get smashed', than 'Does the walking man sign think it's cool for me to cross now'. Frustrating? Yes. Tragic? Hopefully not.
